Cagle's Dairy began with their present farm in 1951. Started by Clayton and Estelle Cagle. Today the Dairy is run by their Sons.
In 1961 Cagle's was the only Dairy in the U.S. to market Milk in plastic Jugs.
The Cagle's and their sons wanted to do more with their farm beside make milk, they wanted to do somthing for the Community. They decided to give educaitonal Farm tours for children.
Cagle's Dairy has excellent tours of the farm and have several events throughout the year.
The farm tour are about 1 1/2 hours long and including a demonstration by Scott Cagle's award winning Border Collies.
One of the other attraction is the Corn Field Maize. It is 10 acres of twists and turns. It takes about an hour to get thru the three miles of paths.
They open Labor DAy weekend thru the weekend before Thanksgiving.
